Ticket office
How do I purchase a ticket for Museum Night?
From 11 September, tickets will be available online at our websiteand at our various points of sale: Payot bookshops in Lausanne, Morges, Nyon, Vevey, Montreux and Yverdon-les-Bains. On the day of the event, 27 September, you can also buy your ticket at the entrance to each participating museum from 2pm, as well as at the meeting points located at Place des Pionnières from 9am and at Plateforme 10 from 2pm.
What should I do if I haven't received my ticket after purchasing it online?
Following your purchase, you should receive a confirmation email with a QR code to present at the entrance of the first museum you visit.If you do not receive this email, please check your spam folder or contact us via our contact form.
Are there reduced rates or free admission for certain categories(children, senior citizens, disabled persons, accompanying persons)?
All information regarding ticketing can be found on our dedicated page. Children under 16 do not pay admission, and the price of an adult ticket is CHF 10. All discounts usually granted in museums are suspended on Saturday 27 September from 2pm.
Can tickets be sent by post?
No tickets will be sent by post. If you would like a physical ticket, please visit one of our various sales points from 11 September onwards: Payot bookshops in Lausanne, Morges, Nyon, Vevey, Montreux and Yverdon-les-Bains. On the day of the event, 27 September, you can also purchase your ticket at the entrance to each partner museum from 2pm, as well as at the meeting points located at Place des Pionnières from 9am and at Plateforme 10 from 2pm.

Do certain activities or guided tours need to be booked in advance?
Your admission ticket gives you access to all Museum Night activities. Some activities, workshops and tours require registration. Unfortunately, we do not control museum attendance. If you have any questions about this, please contact the museum directly.
Are there any recommended routes for families and children of different ages?
Our page Paths offers several themed itineraries, three of which are designed for families. What's more, this year you can create your own personalised itinerary by specifying your criteria. For example, the age of your children, the time slot you would like to visit, or even the areas that interest you.
Transport and accessibility
How can I get there by public transport and travel between museums?

The Renens, Lausanne and Pully railway stations are located in the immediate vicinity of several museums. All institutions are served by public transport. From 3pm onwards, in addition to the usual public transport services, two special bus routes will be operating for the duration of the event. You can therefore easily get there by public transport and take advantage of the special routes to connect all the museums.
Is parking available for visitors ?
We encourage the use of public transport, cycling or walking to fully enjoy the event. No specific parking is provided, but you can use the public car parks in Lausanne, Pully, Renens and EPFL (paid parking).
What accessibility measures are in place(for people with reduced mobility, visually impaired people, accompanying persons) ?
Several museums have implemented specific measures to better accommodate people with disabilities. You will find all the details in the summary document available here, as well as on the dedicated pages of each partner museum.

Where can I find the printed programme for Museum Night ?
The printed programme for Museum Night will be available in our various museums from 11 September.On the day of the event, 27 September, you can also pick up a copy at the meeting points located at Place des Pionnières from 9am and at Plateforme 10 from 2pm.

Each museum develops its own programme for Museum Night. We invite you to write directly to the museums that interest you to ask them if they would be interested in collaborating.
