About us
The event
Every year, on the third Saturday of September, close to 15,000 visitors roam the museums of the Lausanne region, from 2 p.m. to midnight. With more than 24 editions behind it, the Night of the Museums has become a landmark event of the Lake Geneva region. True to its original mission, the event aims to make the riches of museums known to a wide audience. For the occasion, many dedicated and inclusive activities are offered in the 29 participating institutions.
To round out the museum programme, three meeting and information points welcome the public until midnight: Place de la Riponne, EPFL and Plateforme 10. And to make the cultural experience complete, After parties held outside the museums bring this nocturnal odyssey to a close in music.
